Some [PMP Pre-Exam Courses] advertise that you will pass on the 5th day, but Jim was realistic and cautioned/recommended to our class that we will be tired at the end of 4 days of Boot Camp. Jim Santoni, Founder of PM-ProWORLD

PM-ProWORLD (founded in 2017) in Arlington, VA, specializes in project management training and materials that are compliant with the Project Management Institute (PMI®) standards and best practices. Our 4-day course is designed to help participants prepare for the PMP® / CAPM® certification exams offered by PMI®. Jim Santoni is the Founder and Instructor of PM-ProWORLD, and has coached and trained thousands of professionals (2,500+ since 2012) to acquire the knowledge, wisdom, and confidence to pass the PMP® Exam, and obtain those coveted letters PMP®. Jim is very energetic in his teaching style as well as passionate about the project management profession. He believes the key to effective teaching is keeping the participants continually engaged.

Jim has 35+ years of progressively responsible program / project management, financial, strategic, and operational and transformational leadership experience with IBM, and several major defense contractors in Northern Virginia. Jim has managed internal and external projects worldwide. Expert qualifications in program management and across all core accounting and financial practices, and experience implementing effective business performance outcome measures, and spearheading innovative solutions to complex financial, technological, and operational problems. Proven success building and facilitating positive relationships with corporate, financial, and government leaders.

From 2016 – 2018, Jim was a Senior Program Manager (at Knowledge Point*) overseeing and managing a several projects in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). One of those projects was the Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA) of the United Arab Emirates’ four military colleges: Zayed II Military College, Rashid Bin Saeed Al Mahktoum Naval College, Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College, and Joint Command and Staff College. The Capabilities Based Assessment provides an in-depth analysis of the four college’s current training, education, and leadership development curriculum to assist in providing an academic environment that prepares its Cadets to meet the challenges of the 21st Century. The program consists of a three-step process following the U.S. Military CBA process and applying the DOTMLPF — Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material and Equipment, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities — framework.

Successful 25-year career with IBM. Multiple roles, from program/project manager to business operations management, to CFO for an IBM Regional Office, to managing global asset recovery operations, to Latin American sales. Operations architect and enterprise strategist, integrator, and troubleshooter. Multi-million-dollar authorities. Consistent success building teams that spur solutions and innovation. Led enterprise conversion for $2B global business unit from a legacy to an SAP system.

Key member, executive team building long- and short-term financial strategies for research and development / manufacturing divisions, Internet and services-related projects in major industries -education, telecommunications, mass media, entertainment.

As the Latin America (LA) Professional Services Financial Controller, Jim strengthened relationships with LA financial and professional services executives. Evaluated P&L statements and government regulations in target countries to foster a more industry-centered business structure.

Jim currently lives in Binghamton, New York, but lived in Arlington, Virginia from 2005-2020. When not coaching/instructing, Jim enjoys all outdoor activities. Active over the last 40+ years officiating high school and college sports in Basketball, Soccer, Softball & Baseball, and girls Field Hockey.
